My friend Tiffany gave birth to her 5th child Monday night. A baby boy, she was even in the count until he made his entrance to the world, 3 boys and 2 girls now. Tiffany and I have been friends for 18 1/2 years, I know you all think I am only 17, but I guess the truth comes out now. She is more like a sister than a friend, our kids are like cousins not just friends. So her having a baby is like me gaining a family member.
Usually Tiffany's labor and delivery is so fast there is no waiting time. Her second baby, Luke arrived as soon as she got into the hospital. Her total labor was like and hour and a half. Her third baby, Ellie did things in the same fashion. By her 4th child, Joshua her dr. was a little worried about her delivering on the freeway and so she broke her water in the hospital, 3 hours later out he pops. So here comes Drew on Monday, her dr. sent her to the hospital broke her water and then I kept waiting for the call, I kept waiting, I tried not to get worried. I started to think maybe they just forgot to call me. Finally over 4 hours later I get the call and could hear the new baby crying. I guess her body wanted to surprise us all and take things at a more normal pace.
I am thrilled for Tiffany, Mike, Megan, Luke, Ellie, Joshua and baby Drew. She says she is done, but really when you body does it so well why not have more?
