The final big event of our month long celebration has occurred. Saturday was Jacob’s baptism. It is a bit hard to focus on the event when you have a house full of people staying, but we enjoyed the occasion. Jacob was excited and when I asked him if he was scared he looked at me weird and said No. He is my child.
It was a packed house at the stake center with 5 other baptisms. It all went well. Afterwards with 60 or so people milling around the house and yard eating ice cream sundaes I realized I DIDN’T TAKE ANY PICTURES BEFORE JACOB HAD CHANGED. No big deal we just took them the next day and no one would know the wiser unless you were there and know that I did not wear that outfit to the baptism!
Cute Jacob who had gotten the tie at a garage sale that day from our dear friends the Bingham’s. I couldn’t not let him wear it.
Yes, I realize these pictures are in part sun and part shade, I tried to be the boss, but the boys wouldn’t listen.
